Coral--Under the Water (part 3)

Another aspect for our massive display was the coral, which was a really simple craft. We had a change in our schedule, which we are testing out.  Several projects were going on at the same time. So in these pictures, the only kids rolling paper were the three girls in the photos.  They were awesome and so focused!

Rolling paper on pencils.

These four figured out how to delegate who did what. One pulled tape, one rolled, one put tape on the rolled paper, and one just keep conversation going.

Siena couldn't resist.  She had to test the air flow on several rolls.

I forgot to take pictures for them dipping the paper in the watercolor.

Supplies:
1. white or cream 8 x 11 paper, cut in half width-wise
2. pencil
3. Scotch tape
4. small jars of watercolor

Directions:
1. roll paper onto a pencil for traction and even rolling
2. secure middle and one end with tape
3. dip the end without tape in watercolor
4. let dry

Duration:
This is a one day project
